The product goes on light and has a pleasant citrus-like scent.
I purposely didn't use a pre-shave oil (Lavera doesn't have one.) to see if this really did anything for my sensitive skin. The Results? Perfecto! No sting. Great lather, nice smell, smooth shave.
Note: The product can be applied directly to the face, or lathered with a brush.

I'm happy to report the product is great!
However, the product packaging/instructions need work. You know as well as I do, packaging fluff is written by marketers, so we never quite know what we're getting into. If you use a brush like I do, there's nothing worse than finding out the "cream" you just put on your badger doesn't foam and is difficult at best to clean out. Tell me the cream is suitable for brush, brushless or for both.
Update: The website does tell me its for brush!

If you've got sensitive skin, and have tried other "natural" or "organic" shave creams, stop looking and buy this product. You won't be dissapointed.
The tube size is small, but a little product goes a long way. As with all creams, don't forget to rinse your blade often to prevent your razor from clogging up.
Availability: Unless you live near a Whole Foods, or another health or natural foods store, you're going to have to order online. www.lavera-usa.com
Call their toll-free number at 1-877-528-3727 for an outlet near you or to order direct.
Be forewarned, the US distributor has a $19.00 minimum order requirement, so plan spending it!

Protect and care for skin while you shave with this light cream. Cleansers derived from coconut oil provide a clean, smooth base for shaving, while organic jojoba oil lends a naturally protective, non-greasy film, helping to guard against redness and irritation without clogging pores.
Use: Apply to damp skin before shaving. Using the brush, work up into a creamy foam, then shave off.
