With a no-nonsense policy Dermalogica does not believe in over priced packaged frilly products, they want results, and believe you do too. Since the beginning of their company this policy has developed to an impressive multi-national skincare titan.

It was easy to apply to my face. The silicone-gel spread easily and shaved off just as well. I liked that it was scent-free and clear, it made it easier to see what I was trying to shave. Many foamy products don't allow you this great benefit and you end up rinsing before you notice the quarter inch thick line you missed down your face.

The silicone-gel would not wash off! While it easily spread on my beard, it took multiple washes to remove the gel from my hands. That took time away from my routine and reuired more then one hand towel.

While it was nice to shave with, the silicone in the gel would not wash off my hands. I am not a fan of things that stay on my hands after a few washes. That said, as a shave oil, it did shave very well. I did like the small bottle and it's design. But ... for the money, I would pick Aromapharmacy's cream/gel, or use a shave brush and go for The Art of Shaving.
