Edge ActiveCare comes to us from SC Johnson & Co., the same folks who brought us the legendary Edge Shave Gel. Since we here at ShaveReview worship Edge Gel and believe it belongs in the Shave Hall of Fame, we would expect no less from their new product offering; ActiveCare. Simple fact: Edge invented and OWNS the gel market. (Just ask Schick where they got the idea for their gel)

We are curious why the wonderkinds in the marketing department at SCJ would consider extending the Edge name (which conjures up tall cans dispensing strong scented swirling gel into my palm) to a cream?

Fact is we're just not that smart here. It does live up to the hype and heritage of Edge Gel, and that's all that matters.
