Facts are facts, your face and skin age as you age. There’s no way to stop Father Time from punchin’ your clock. However, there are a few things you can do to slow the process down. Ironically shaving a clean face is one of them!

MenScience product line-up and philosophy promotes “the shave” as an integral part of a sound overall skin care regiment. Prior to touching my face with a razor, I used Menscience’s Microfine Face Scrub which by design removes dead skin, and promises a cleaner smoother face.

Women have effectively used exfoliating agents on their faces since the days of Helen of Friggin’ Troy. (Face that launched a 1000 ships nonsense) Why it has taken men this long to figure it all out is beyond reason. Leather Mug Marlboro Man is macho, but smoking is so out as is a leather face before the age of 50!

Usage:
Go easy on the product and your face. A nickel sized amount to your finger-tips is all that is necessary. Be careful and stay away from your eyes and mouth as this product contains Glycolic Acid - Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Salicylic Acid (BHA). Neither of which are good for your eyes or taste buds.  Gently scrub you face in a circular motion for a minute or two and rinse. That’s it!

Editor’s Note:
If you have extremely dry or ruddy skin “zones” or areas on your face test a patch or consult a dermatologist before using any exfoliant.  I’m sure they’ll sell you some overpriced exfoliant from their office desk drawer, but seriously guys, be careful with your face.

The Shave:
I actually did notice a difference in my first shave after using the Scrub. My stubble was softer and seemed to stand up a bit for the razor. Clean isn’t the word. Buff is! My face felt cleaner than ever before.
